2 El Paso boaters missing after New Mexico outing Elephant Butte Lake, N.M.

A search resumed Monday for two El Paso boaters missing at Elephant Butte Lake.  Patrick Shied, 18, and Tarzan Arguillez, 19, were reported missing about 3:30 p.m. Saturday.  Maj. Frank Taylor, state police spokesman in Santa Fe, said searchers have found a rowboat the two had taken to Jet Boat Cove.  Only a life jacket was on board.

So good ole’ MC Vagina is back and this time he is taking a more gangster approach to his rhymes.  This is definitely the third video as it isn’t as instantly classic as Show me Your Genitals or E=MC Vagina…but it is still pretty funny.

A flash interactive site titled Enter the Octahedron has been launched to promote the new album.  It contains promo pictures of the band as well as the two singles with lyrics (I’ll post them in comments).

Also, TMV is having a contest for people to host early listening parties for the album.  I applied, and I linked to RB and attached my interpretations.

Apparently the new issue of Kerrang magazine has an article about the album that talks about the concept.  I haven’t read it myself yet so I don’t know the details but I guess the album is based around two people they were friends with that just disappeared and they don’t know what happened to them.  I’m not positive but from reading the lyrics so far, my guess is that it is like De-Loused and such in that it is based on real people but a fictional account of what may have happened to them.  I’ll update this when either we get scans or I read the article myself.

The good old Circuity city is making a comeback. While there currently arent any plans to reopen any of the stores, the website is back up and running again!!!

As cheesy as it may seem to plug my band on RB, I think I know most of you appreciate punk rock music for the most part. My band, Slaves to the Pavement, just finished our demo yesterday so if you guys are interested, check us out. It’s fast, thrashy, punk music. If you really dig us, then add us. LOL! We’ll be selling our demo soon enough and playing shows even sooner.

According to this, Omar will be releasing a new album in September called Xenophanes.  More information will likely be announced soon.
